Level 3
Level 3 provides advanced theological formation for students developing deeper competence in Biblical studies, Christian doctrine, Lutheran confessional theology, worship, preaching and pastoral ministry.
The curriculum combines academic study with practical preparation for Christian ministry and leadership within the church.

Areas of Theological Formation
Biblical Studies
Students develop advanced Biblical knowledge through Biblical Greek and exegetical study of New Testament texts.
Church History and Confessional Studies
The programme includes the study of Luther's life and writings together with the Smalcald Articles and the Lutheran confessional tradition.
Systematic Theology
Students engage with Christian doctrine, including theology, anthropology, Christology, and the advanced study of Law and Gospel.
Pastoral Ministry
Practical ministry formation includes worship leadership, church-year services, sermon writing and advanced Christian counseling.
Course Structure
The Level 3 curriculum consists of 10 courses carrying a combined 36 credits .
